Students enrolled in AP Statistics courses may find the http://www.census.gov/ website a useful resource which includes a plethora of data. The census website is a valuable resource which provides access to trends, maps and future predictions. With the 2010 census count, new data will soon be available. Once this process is completed teachers will be able to access the current data as well as previously collected data. Examples of ways this data may be used includes the download of data files that may then be compared to the data from previous years, used in statistic analysis projects, and other graphic presentations. Data Abstracts, lesson plans, and data related maps are also available.
