Lessons Shaken from the "Core of the Earth"

An Island Nation, Haiti, was literally shaken at its core during the month of January 2010. Again, on Wednesday, January 20, 2010, this nation experienced another: earthquake or aftershock. What elements distinguish an earthquake from an aftershock? Not only are adults asking question; students have began to ask questions as well about this dramatic event.
